Can you describe me a Typical day?

The kids are arriving between 7:00am~9:00am, then it’s the big gathering time; we are grouping the children accordingly to their age. Then, they are heading to some nearby parks where they will enjoy various physical activity games. From 11:30am~12:30pm depending of the age group, it is lunch time. The children are coming back to the center which they will benefit of one hour rest in an air conditioned area. Afterward, they will go back to the park and/or to the swimming pool until 4:00pm. Parents are required to pick-up their children between 4:00pm~6:00pm.

What sports that my child will do?

The ultimate Jacques Dupont summer day camp goal does mainly consist to entertain the children in giving them an opportunity to experience the widest possible range of sports. The games rules are always flexible since we aren’t thriving for performance and neither academics. Therefore, your child will play games and do many activities;

  • Ball games; soccer, handball, kick-ball, basketball etc...
  • Running challenges; Treasure hunt, Flag tag, obstacle race, little pigs, four corners etc...
  • Using a wide range of accessories; rackets, water balloons, sponges, cones etc...
  • And much more; rhythmic dance, karate, ground gymnastics, swimming etc...

The activities are chosen in accordance with the age group and our innovation satisfies the children expectations. Any participation is openly encouraged but never imposed. The entrance board displays the daily available activities of each age group.

What does my child needs to bring?

You child must bring everyday with him;

  • A water bottle
  • A hat and solar cream
  • A swimwear and a towel
  • Running shoes and comfortable sport wear
  • A lunch (hot or cold) along with two snacks
  • For the youngest ones, we recommend that you apply some solar cream before you come to the center

Is it involving everyday swimming?

We are not subjected to the same city regulations. We prefer to remain flexible. For instance, we are visiting the swimming pool upon each time that we feel the need to refresh, but we are not going to swim when it’s cold outside and when no one wants to.

Can you put on solar cream to my child?

The parents are mostly responsible to apply some solar cream on their children. We need a special parental authorization do to it, so only under exceptional circumstances we will accept to put cream on your child. We always take a moment before we are to head outside in asking the children to apply some solar cream on oneself. For hygiene and safety reasons, the instructors are not allowed to apply any cream on children. The children must help each other if necessary. We are asking the parent to insure that solar cream had been applied on their child before they arrive at the center.

What does my child will do if he refuses to participate to an outdoor activity?

The outdoor activities are always optional. The center remains open where some other activities are organized accordingly for the children who prefer to stay inside. You will be informed about the upcoming outdoor activities each Monday, whether your child intends to participate or not.

How much cost each outdoor activity?

The related fees to all outdoor activities are supplementary cost. The fees range between 6$~28$. You will be informed about any upcoming outdoor activities regardless that your child will participate or not.

Must I pay the entire cost of the summer camp upon registration?

The advantage of our camp is accommodation and flexibility. However, we are asking you to please pay the registration fees of 25$ upon enrolling your child at the camp, along with the first scheduled week that your child will attend. All others consecutive weeks can be booked in advance with a post dated check; we are asking you to date your check so that we can cash it on Monday of the reserved week.

Do the chosen weeks have to preferably consecutive ones?

The advantage of our camp is accommodation and flexibility. You can choose any weeks that suits you. You can even make your reservation on a daily basis. You can book for full weeks alternating with partial weeks. You always have a choice with the Jacques Dupont daily sport camp!

What is the camp cost?

Other than the registration fees of 25$, the weekly fees are 105$ and the daily fees are 28$. You can choose the plan that suits you; your weekly fees will never exceed 105$ to the exception of the extra fees involved for the outdoor activities. Obviously, this service is not taxable.

What is I decide to switch my vacation weeks?

The advantage of our camp is accommodation and flexibility. You can cancel at all time free of extra charge until June 1rst 2010, but please keep in mind that the registration fees are not refundable. Past June 1rst, the penalty fees will be as followed; half of your initial payment will be deducted for the entire reservation that you have made. If you decide to switch any week; we do not see any problem with that, as long as we still have some availabilities. The same principle applies for the daily booking. We are mostly understanding in cases of separation, mortality or illness with proof to be submitted. Please always keep in mind that the number of required instructors that we hire matched in accordance with the number of children and once we hired the staff, we are to be held responsible and manage the costs.
