Centres de Karate Jacques Dupont
Sensei Jacques Dupont is the head of the Jacques Dupont Karate Centers and Director of Seibukai Canada. Master Yukio Nishida is the Seibukai World Organisation President and the head office is located in Hiratsuka, Japan.
Following the death of Mas Oyama; the founder of Kyokushin karate, Shihan Nishida became the director of the IKO2 Kyokushin organization. In 1999, he resigned of his function to create his own style that he named; Seibukai. Shihan Nishida retained the Kyokushin technical basis and also added to his style some Chinese Kung Fu techniques and Jujitsu. The Seibukai style become a search quest for a perfect harmony of the mind and the body through some physical training which respect and discipline is omnipresent.
In all lessons you will learn various breathing techniques, achieve some stamina training, natural muscular toning, stretching and flexibility. You will be able to learn at your own pace the tameshiwari (breaking technique), how to handle a Bo stick weapon as well as the Nunchakus. You will study the Seibukai karate basic techniques, the katas, self-defense and some articulation grabbing techniques of Jujitsu. The kumite (fighting) training in all Seibukai schools integrates all acquired learning’s.
Whether it is for you and/or for your children you will be able to note some improvement. Moreover than physical benefits, Seibukai karate will bring you more self-confidence and a higher self-esteem. It’s by exploring our potential that we are able to go beyond the limitation set by our mind.
It is with a perpetual mind that we thrive for continuous improvement. Seibukai Canada Organisation constantly allows its style to progress permanently. In that sense, Sensei Jacques Dupont regularly visits Shihan Nishida in Japan. It permits Sensei Dupont to perfect his teaching and afterward, to transmit these to his instructors. For the students, it is a faithful valuable commitment which carries off the highest stakes.
